Someone posted on an NFP group I'm in about a family who had received a prenatal diagnosis of Down Syndrome. They had contacted a priest in Virginia asking for assistance in finding the child a home, if a family couldn't be found that day they were planning to proceed with an abortion. The priest took it to Facebook asking for help and word spread (hence how it ended up on the group I was in).
|And then this happened, over and over again.|
That is what gives me hope. That is a true testament to how pro-life people view the dignity of each life. These families are willing to open their homes, families who earlier that morning knew nothing of this child or its family but found the space in their heart and lives for it at a moment's notice. It's a beautiful thing to witness that kind of love, 100 times over.
